When I was a teenager, like most people, my hormones went crazy. This led to acne that was so severe that my cousins would refuse to greet me with a kiss on the cheek, as we do in my culture.

Among all of the treatments and creams I’d be given, the one product the dermatologist said was mandatory to use was sunscreen. Yes, mandatory. This is because the sun, TV, and even our phone damages our skin over time with every exposure, which can potentially give you skin spots, and other skin issues (yes, wearing sunscreen can prevent skin cancer. We know you know, but one can never say that enough). My issue with wearing sunscreen was that it would leave that awful white cast, and most are usually too thick and oily, which would actually lead to more acne, in my case.

The ultimate goal, both for me and I think I can safely assume of anyone reading this, is to look like we have an instagram filter on our face. I have learned to take care of my skin with basic skincare routines, such as cleansing twice a day and moisturizing. I also like to wear makeup to hide some imperfections, light acne or irritation, and to even out the overall skin tone. Ideally, there would be a product that does this, while also moisturizing and protecting the skin from UV rays. And that is where the need to create MauMen begins.

MauMen is developed in a lab in Florida, USA, with the perfect formula to cover all of my, and your, skincare needs.

I hope you like it as much as I do, and I would love to get your feedback after you try it.
